Bought this bike for my 4yr old son. His requests in a new bike were no hand brakes and it must be orange. After reading many other reviews on other orange bikes, this one met all of his requirements and had some of the best reviews. We received this bike in 4 days - the box looked horrible but the bike was in great shape. It had one paint scratch on the front wheel hub, we didn't deem it bad enough to send back. It comes almost put together - Son was riding it in under 30 mins from out of the box. Like others have said, you will only need about 4 or 5 pages of the entire manual. All that is requred is placing the handle bars, front wheel, and pedals on the this bike. The tires even came inflated.
This bike looks much nicer in person - I thought the pictures looked more yellow and sort of plain - the bike is definitely orange and very nice looking for a boy. My son has really enjoyed his first week with this bike.

First of all the price is awesome. $ 69 no tax and shipping. This bike is about $110. Very light, great color. You have to be a brain surgen to read the manual. Its a book not a step by step manual. I have put few bikes together so it wasnt that difficult but its not easy for first timers. The packiging: The box was in peaces. The box was open parts were sticking out. This bike needed to be in an extra box for shipping. The original box is not design for shipping. I have to watch out what i order from amazon.

If intact, the bike is probably worth the quoted price. However, ours arrived with several handling equipment holes and tears in the box and one end appeared to have been squeezed under other heavy stuff in shipping. In addition, there were dark slide marks and corner dents as if the box had been thrown and kicked across the floor by handlers. When the box was opened, one side of the forks was bent inward and twisted, and the fork tube bearing was cocked slightly, making the steering very rough. I cannot recommend buying this unless Amazon straightens out the shipping. This bike was ill handled, and rendered useless.

Not quite as easy to assemble as we hoped! Still having issues getting the training wheels to function safely.

We bought this 16 inch bike for our son's 4th birthday. It arrived promptly and was very easy to assemble. Only had to attach the seat, pedals, front wheel, and training wheels. The fit and finish are great and he loves to ride it. It's fully adjustable and should easily last him for a long time. Highly recommended
