The item was delivered on time.

i noticed a few scratches on the front rim, but other than that everything was ok.

All of the parts were there and it was easy to assemble.

I got lucky on the price when amazon was selling one for $64.

My son is about 4 1/2 and he has to tippy toe to get on the seat.

He falls when he makes sharp turns or when riding on an uneven surface.

I now only let him ride where the road is flat and doesnt have a downgrade. He needs to grow a few more inches and the bike will be just

right for him. Over all, I am satisfied with my purchase and my kid love this bike.

This is a great bike for my son...though a little large for his size. He could ride the toddler bike without training wheels, but graduating to this bike he needs them for another year or so just so he can stop without tipping over. The face plate on the front broke off almost immediately, but everything else works great.

I have always been happy with products from Amazon, but there are too many things that can go wrong with ordering a bike sight unseen. It may simply be that Fedex mis-handled the item in transit. I was not happy to find it had been delivered in a monsoon while I was away for the day, they did nothing to protect it from the rain so it was soaked. The box disintegrated. The chain would not stay on, and the pedal was bent and couldn't turn 360 degrees, paint was scratched- already returned, or was it new? I returned it and will try to find a replacement gift on Christmas Eve, wish me luck.

The quality is just fair. The peddels kept coming unscrewd, the rims were bent when they arrived, the tires had holes in them, I had to tighten the handle bars every couple of weeks. The only reason I give it 2 stars is because the training wheels held up well, but other than that, I would pass on this bike.

We bought this bike for our soon to turn 5 years son. I took my time assembling the bike, wich was not very hard to do. Our son pedals now every day on this bike and likes it a lot. One is issue as mentioned in another review is the coaster brake. It is something to get used to in order to get the bike going, especially when the pedals are not slightly tiled forward. The bike is sturdy and the price is great. Do recheck the training wheels regularly, they tend to get loose.

We just bought this for my 5 year old since his knees were starting to hit his elbows on his trike lol



My son loved the color, the look, etc. so he was a happy camper.



The box says you can assemble the bike in minutes in 5 easy steps, but it took my husband and I about 45 minutes since the instruction booklet is a universal booklet that can be used for many bikes, and so more than once, we had to kind of piece it together using the picture on the box as well as the instructions, but it was pretty easy to put together.



I bought this bike for forty bucks at targ. which is the regular price. Nice bike, but I wouldn't pay anything more than forty for this one.



I suggest buying an air pump with the bike since it'd be no fun having an assembled bike and no air in the tires. I got a pretty good air pump at Target for eight bucks.



update: it's been about a month since had the bike and so far, we've had to tighten the handle bars after it suddenly just slipped forward while my son was riding it, the training wheels are getting rickety, and the even though we tightened the seat as tight as possible, it still seems to get loose very easily.

I bought this bike for my daughter as a second bike. She's been riding a two-wheeler without training wheels since her fourth birthday and her 12-inch was getting small. Setting up the bike was a piece of cake. It took me about 30 minutes and that's because I read the directions twice. It's a little heavy, but for the lower price that you pay, it's not bad.

First, let me say that is is a great bike for your little boy to learn on. My boy is 3 and is an average size for his age, and this bike fits him perfectly. [...].



PROS:

- Has a pad on the top bar (very important for little boys learning

to ride)

- Has a full chain guard...not just on the top of the chain

- Has chunky tires that aren't too narrow

- Very easy to assemble out of the box (although the directions

aren't for this exact bike)

- Seat looks a bit awkward in the picture, but it is actually a

good design and holds your little ones bottom in the correct place

- A nice color red that isn't too flashy, yet stands out enough for

others to be able to see your child when riding (not like a black

or darker colored bike, which is hard to notice on a street)



CONS:

- Manual & directions aren't for this exact bike (looks like the

company has 1 manual & includes it with all of their bikes...and

it is for adult bikes)

- My biggest gripe - the fenders shown in the picture are NOT the

ones that come with the bike. I have listed a picture of the bike

we have showing the difference in the fenders. It is not a huge

difference, but the ones that come with it do not wrap around the

top of the tire as much as the stock photo shows, which makes them

essentially pointless in keeping the tire splash angled downward -

and they don't look as "cool" because they don't have the holes in

the side giving a "beefier" look. :(

- No reflector for the back of the bike, only front (which isn't a

huge deal because I plan on putting a flashing LED, but something

worth mentioning).

This bike is all my daughter talked about in the weeks approaching her birthday. I don't think anything else could have satiated my little spider man fan. The bike was easy enough for me to assemble, and is covered in Spiderman imagery. It is tough, a good size for my four year old, and easy for her to steer and break.



My only complaint is the Spiderman shield on the handlebars because it is made of very thin plastic and secured by a tie down. That cheap touch is out of place in an otherwise solid bike. It is easy to remove however and the bike loses nothing in its disposal.

Took a bit to assemble and my son kept disconnecting the brake wires.. but he was only three at the time.. He also struggled with it as it is quite heavy but ultimately got the hang of it.



Now he is almost 4 (and the size of the average 5.5 years old) and we bike regularly but on a flat safe surface so he almost never needs to use the brakes.



The only real problem we have is with the pedals. Every now and then I will be biking with them and one of them will become unscrewed and will fall off. This is easily fixed by screwing the pedals back but is a little scary. i can imagine this being a real problem if we were biking fast and or going on a hill.

The old saying "You Get What You Pay For" definitely applies here. This bike is low quality but you shouldn't expect much these days when you pay $[...]. Good bikes are $[...]+ even for children. We put the bike together and found that both wheels were out of round. I had to true the wheels but even after that, the rims are still so low in quality that they weren't very even. One other issue is that the caliper brakes are almost useless. I had to adjust them to the max just to get them close to the correct spot on the rim for them to work. The pads fall short of the metal part of the rim. The manufacturer should have saved the $[...] on the caliper brake and put it into better quality rims. It is ridable and my son loves Spiderman so we will keep it. Bear in mind that it will only be used for a year or two and you will be OK. If you are in the least bit worried about quality, go with a better brand at a bike store. I bought this bike at Target for $[...].

This is a great looking bike for any young Spiderman fan. However, first bike was defective: front wheel did not even fit on the front fork.



On the plus side, this bike is easy to assemble (I had to do it twice)!



Overall, I would buy again as long as you have enough time to get a replacement if need be.



The defective return was handled very efficiently by Amazon.
