 "10-80 1/4 pipe - Great start." 2008-09-01
By S. Hart (USA)
Purchased this product for my 10 year old son who is mad on skateboarding. We had researched half pipes and they are just too expensive ... and huge!

This is a good product, quite tall and has quite a big footprint so requires a large area of the drive. That said he is able to use it with no problems.

Slightly tricky to put together. Some of the holes didn't seem quite aligned and we really had to use quite a bit of force to get the pieces together. The instructions were difficult to interpret, although not impossible (I did better than my husband would have!!) and there was one white plastic end tube cap missing (not at all detrimental to performance). Instructions say do not use an electric screwdriver, however I would have died from heat and exertion if I hadn't and it had no ill effect on product.

 "Very Pleased" 2008-04-22
By Mark W. Phillips (Vancouver, WA USA)
I was very happy with this ramp and my boys love it. It was very easy to put together and is quite sturdy. The only problem I had was the locks/plugs on the base of the ramp. One would not lock and I discovered that one of the preformed locking lugs on the hole was deformed and not engaging the lugs on the plug. I used a heat gun (paint stripper) to warm up the plastic and was able to press it back into it's original form and it locked correctly after that. It is set up in the driveway so the guys don't have to go into the street with their skateboards which makes me fell better. Shipping was timely and the unit is well made. I would recommend this product.

 "A real kid pleaser" 2009-09-12
By S. M. Miller (California, USA)
This bike is all my daughter talked about in the weeks approaching her birthday. I don't think anything else could have satiated my little spider man fan. The bike was easy enough for me to assemble, and is covered in Spiderman imagery. It is tough, a good size for my four year old, and easy for her to steer and break.

My only complaint is the Spiderman shield on the handlebars because it is made of very thin plastic and secured by a tie down. That cheap touch is out of place in an otherwise solid bike. It is easy to remove however and the bike loses nothing in its disposal.

 "Excellent Bike" 2009-06-23
By Aneta Muzyka
I purchased this bike for my little boy who is almost 4 years old, and he absolutely loves it. Even his sister (who is 6.5) rides it (I just raise the seat up for her).

 "ok for the price" 2009-05-19
By Woman Who Has Changed Thousands of Diapers
Took a bit to assemble and my son kept disconnecting the brake wires.. but he was only three at the time.. He also struggled with it as it is quite heavy but ultimately got the hang of it.

Now he is almost 4 (and the size of the average 5.5 years old) and we bike regularly but on a flat safe surface so he almost never needs to use the brakes.

The only real problem we have is with the pedals. Every now and then I will be biking with them and one of them will become unscrewed and will fall off. This is easily fixed by screwing the pedals back but is a little scary. i can imagine this being a real problem if we were biking fast and or going on a hill.

 "Low Quality China Bike" 2009-03-22
By R. A. DeFour (Huntsville, AL)
The old saying "You Get What You Pay For" definitely applies here. This bike is low quality but you shouldn't expect much these days when you pay $[...]. Good bikes are $[...]+ even for children. We put the bike together and found that both wheels were out of round. I had to true the wheels but even after that, the rims are still so low in quality that they weren't very even. One other issue is that the caliper brakes are almost useless. I had to adjust them to the max just to get them close to the correct spot on the rim for them to work. The pads fall short of the metal part of the rim. The manufacturer should have saved the $[...] on the caliper brake and put it into better quality rims. It is ridable and my son loves Spiderman so we will keep it. Bear in mind that it will only be used for a year or two and you will be OK. If you are in the least bit worried about quality, go with a better brand at a bike store. I bought this bike at Target for $[...].

 "Attractive bike, pesky defect" 2008-07-15
By Avid DVD fan (SF Bay Area, CA)
This is a great looking bike for any young Spiderman fan. However, first bike was defective: front wheel did not even fit on the front fork.

On the plus side, this bike is easy to assemble (I had to do it twice)!

Overall, I would buy again as long as you have enough time to get a replacement if need be.

The defective return was handled very efficiently by Amazon.

"My nephew LOVED it! " 2009-01-13
By K. Mayfield (Oklahoma)
My nephew LOVED it! This is all he wanted from Santa this year! It was easy to put together. He is 3 years old and it is the perfect size for him. A great starter bike for any toddler boy!

"Great bike for your little tyke!" 2007-06-07
By Pat Gerhow (Mississippi, USA)
We purchased this as a gift for our grandson, who lives across the country from us, so we had it shipped directly. His dad mentioned that it was a chore to assemble, but he also told us that it was well-worth the trouble, because his 4-year-old son abandoned every other Christmas gift and spent every waking moment on this bike!

 "We LOVE this bike!" 2007-05-30
By T. Miller (Pottstown, PA)
Well, 1st off, we got the bike on SALE. I see that the price is now back to normal, but regardless, this bike is wonderful! Putting it together was a snap! And, I am a single mom who worries about whether or not I will be able to piece these intricate boys' toys together! :) But, the bike was assembled in under a 1/2 hour and my son adores it! He is 3 years old and simply loves Spiderman. The bike not only looks cool to him, but it is sturdy, which is important to me. I think this is one of the best summer purchases we will make this year! I am sure we will get much more enjoyment out of this bike before he outgrows it in a few years.

 "12" Spiderman Bike " 2007-01-18
By Chad W. Bailey (Austin, TX)
My son's face lit up when he saw this. He is completely into Spiderman!! It was well worth the wait til Christmas morning. It was very easy for him to ride, steer, all-over figure out. Thanks to whomever decided to make this bike

And ordering through Amazon was very smooth. Quick shipping.

By Domenica Petrillo
The bicycle is adorable. Too much time in putting the bike together. There were broken parts and no air in the tires.

Klunkerz - A Film about the Development and Birth of Mountain Bikes - DVD

This highly entertaining documentary is about the birth and growth of mountain bikes. In the late 1960's and early 1970's a handful of hippie cyclists literally reinvented the wheel. These early pioneers scavenged frames from dumpsters and junkyards and lifted parts from road bikes and motorcycles to build a better way down the mountain. Little did they realize that their obsessive tinkering would ultimately lead to the birth of a multi-billion dollar industry and an Olympic sport. These modified biked became affectionately known as "Klunkerz". For anyone who loves the sport and wants a taste of the history, personality, and spirit of the first mountain bikers from back in the day, this DVD will be extremely entertaining and informative. Great footage never before seen anywhere.

 "Inspiring" 2009-07-30
By Tonimarie Manzi
After finding a trailer for Klunkerz on Youtube, I had to see the movie. I'm glad I did because this was a movie of awesome proportion. The old footage made the film extra cool and made me want to go out and find my own bike trail! I wish everyone could see this film, it could easily revolutionize people's thinking. As usual, one independent film is better than 20 "big films" combined! I want to give a big thanks to the guys that made this film, it was awesome!
