The good news is that the bike is about 85% assembled. You attach the pedals, handlebars, & seat. The bad news is the instructions are printed on something between rice paper and newsprint, in a super-faded color that once may have been black, in a font so small you may need a jeweler's loupe to read them. These instructions seem to have been meant for many different bikes, so you will learn how to attach the fenders (none on this bike) and four ways to attach the reflectors (only one applies here).

Once assembled, my daughter could ride this bike without a hitch, so for the money this is a great value, and I would recommend it to others. Super-fast shipping from Amazon, we ordered on Sunday night and the bike arrived on Tuesday.

Huffy Girls So Sweet 20 - Inch Bike



Grandpa put this together in 30 minutes, easier than the 16 inch as no training wheels and didnt need to spread the fork. 6.5 year old never did a bike before, used the 16" a bit, now riding just great!!!

Delivery was awesome!! Ordered Sunday right before Chirstmas? Arrived on Tuesday.

Recommend this for a 6.5 year old. Its a tad big, but Natalia is growing!! Will fit it better soon!!

I purchased this bike for my daughter's 7th birthday...of course, my husband isn't very sneaky and she discovered it and fell in love with it! This is the 1st bike, other than used, that we have purchased. It is nice and sturdy and very easy put together and for the great price. Hopefully she enjoys it for the next 4 years or so.

This bike is basically OK, but I pity anyone who might try to assemble it without the proper tools.



All nuts and bolts are metric. The tires were deflated. Worst I found was that the width of the front forks and the the width of the axle mounting points did not match. I had to spread the forks apart with brute force to get them to go around the inner nuts on the axle. The forks brackets were half a bolt too narrow. I could either leave the nuts on and spread the forks or remove the nuts and really have to tighten the forks together about 1/4". Print and diagrams on the instruction sheet were so small, they were basically useless. Had to use a magnifying glass.



I had all of the tools and a compressor, so aside from the front forks, assembly was not a problem.



Grandaughter is enjoying the bike. Only problem so far has been handlebars that are slightly loose. I have tightened them down. Hopefully, that will be enough.

The girls wanted bikes from Grandpa for Christmas. Took an hour to put together. The fork was too skinny, took a few minutes of prying to separate it. Easy set up. Grandpa brought his own tool kit (which is NOT very specialized), and managed just fine to put the bike together easily. This was a long thought out purchase for my daughter. I checked reviews and compared prices. This bike is exactly what we were looking for, very girly but still sturdy so it will last and withstand the wear and tear. Only complaint is I wish it came with the reflectors for the tires and a basket, but both were easy to find at the local store. Great bike!!!

This bike is not bad for the money & cheaper on Amazon (free shipping) than driving to Target to pick it up. My husband assembled it relatively easily. The handlebars arrived scratched--the paint scratched down to the metal. This would easily have been prevented with better packaging. My other complaint is that the training wheels are very delicate and flimsy. I have definately seen bikes with much sturdier training wheels. Our 2 1/2 year-old does love it, however.
