These are the criteria for any avid cyclist or triathlete. A recent crash resulted in a crack to my previous Giro helmet-----but not my head!-----so sticking with a winning horse was obvious. Watch the Tour and see how many use the Giro helmets, including Astana. It is obviously a great product.

Great looking helmet albeit a little big on the sides. Fits snug, padding is comfy and colors are nice. However the straps are a little awkward to get right and the rear clinch mechanism is a little flimsy. I liked the dial on my Bell quite a bit better.

This is an excellent helmet and it works too. I gave it a crash test last month when I was hit by a car (I was doing 25 mph) and hit my head hard on the asphalt. The helmet didn't break or crack and I didn't suffer any type of head injuries. I was so impressed, I replaced it with the same model. The fit is great and I wore it on a 200 mile one day ride without any discomfort. It isn't a cheap helmet, but what kind of price do you put on your life?
The Garmin color isn't bad either.

I'll start this off by saying that this is a pricey helmet. If you shop around, you can pick it up though for around $150. I got into road cycling after mountain biking for a few months, and found that my mountain bike helmet just didn't cut it in terms of airflow. Mountain biking generally has a lot more shade, and you aren't traveling at nearly the same speeds as road cycling most of the time, so airflow is not as great a benefit as it is on the road.
I shopped around, almost picked up the Atmos, but decided to splurge and pick up the top of the line. I couldn't be happier with this helmet, and I noticed immediately the difference in the temperature of my head while riding in 90-100+ degree temps during the summer here in Texas. The adjustable fit is excellent and I barely notice the helmet on my head most of the time. I still sweat a lot, but I can at least feel the airflow over my noggin while cruising at 20+ mph, and it is a relief. If you've got the $$$ and want the best, look no further.

[...] this helmet is nothing short of amazing. First of all, it looks very cool, something we all look for in a helmet if we are serious riders. I always have the problem of "mushroom head" when wearing a helmet. Although this helmet still looks like mushroom head, it is the least of any helmet I have ever worn. Secondly, it keeps you head cool. I know everyone else is saying, and it turns out they are right! The fast you go, the cooler the air on your scalp. My hold Giro helmet, I could literally squeeze the front of the helmet on to my forehead and sweat would pour out. This helmet won't allow that. You don't even hear any wind/draft around your helmet. After a long ride, you'll forget you are even wearing it. I don't know how well it protects your noggin', but I'd expect it to be as good, if not better, than the next. Lastly...did I mention this helmet is dope? Spend the cash on this baby...you will not be disappointed.
